One of my new years resolutions was to keep up this blog better than I did last year but now it's already February and I haven't really posted anything. Way to go Jen!
Anyhow January was busy as usual. We welcomed the new year by having both sets of grandparents over for home made pizza-Yum! and a fun Wii bowling tournament. Then all of the girls stayed up to welcome in the new year. This was Allie and Abby's first time and they thought they were pretty cool. Most of the month it was back to the usual grind--school and cheerleading on Saturdays with some girl scout activities and cheerleading, dance and piano lessons mixed in for fun. We did get a little diversion with two days that it was tooo cold to go to school. It then became a five day weekend -all right!!!!
We spent the cold weekend trying out our new Wii Fit(well it's really Claire's but she's good at sharing it) It is a lot of fun and the kids didn't even realize that they were really exercising. On Monday night after playing the Wii Fit for 4 days straight Allie finally says "Hey this Wii Fit is really exercise!" OOps now I'm busted. We are still enjoying it but I'm not too sure that I like being heckled by a machine for not exercising enough.
Cheerleading is our life in the winter! Mondays after school both Kaeleigh and Claire have practice for 1 1/2 hours each and then in between we go out for dinner with Addy, Allison and Izzy. It's a hectic day but fun too. Then Saturdays both girls cheer for one boys basketball game each. THey love it especially Kaeleigh who also coaches Claires group with her friends Addy and Allison.
THis past week was Catholic SChools Week which translates into one crazy week in the Catholic Schools. We started with pajama day, Crazy hair/Dress day, lunch with your parents, Mass, Service Project Day and ending with a Pep Rally at St. Catherines High School. Allie missed two half days and Kaeleigh missed one being sick too. I"m sure the girls favorite days were PJ day and the Pep Rally(what cheerleader doesn't like a good pep rally).
We ended the month by celebrating Kaeleigh and Maddy's birthdays with a party yesterday. As usual parties at our house are never dull(my friend Karen says she comes just for the entertainment).
Anyhow I hope to keep up better the rest of the year so stay tuned.

Sorry we missed the party! And how did Kaeleigh get to be 14 already? Are you guys doing some kind of funky math up there in WI?
Glad to see you've begun posting again!
